Monumental Downtown Brooklyn bank building
The Dime Savings Bank building established in the 1800s by two expiring bankers looking for a better location in Brooklyn. Its history and its importance to the community is that you could have opened an account with only a dime, which gave a place for individual to begin and thrive in Brooklyn New York city.
Its dome roof top is elegantly made, and the exterior and the interior and well-designed with quions and gargoyles. Going inside, you can sit and watch time--the beautiful decor, too, helps to pass the time away. Today they are constructing all around this building!
