Rubulad is a mixed-media community arts space that hosts Brooklyns longest-running underground event, "the Rubulad party," as well as kids days, community suppers, movie nights, rehearsals, studio space and more. Rubulad is currently in its second location and has been ongoing for nearly twenty years. Rubulad provides a non-traditional and friendly gathering space and gives emerging artists, performers and musicians the opportunity to show their work, participate and cross-pollinate as part of a free-form arts environment.

Rubulad is currently housed in a 6,000-square-foot warehouse with two levels and a rooftop film garden. However, we are seeking a new home. We hope, with the help of our community, to open in a new space in Spring, 2012. (November 2011)
