This is a place where the youth in the community can unite and be proactive, and it allows the youth to stay off the streets. Known for its green and red courts, Rucker Park is a place where many legends and NBA stars grew up playing. Only the best played in this court. Everyone plays as if its their last game -- you never know who is around and who is recruiting. This park has basketball tournaments that are aired on television, and many celebrities are involved, so this is something that the community looks forward to. (November 2012)
