Lake in the northeastern tip of Central Park
Harlem Meer is one of the best-kept secrets of Central Park. Located on 11-acres of the northeastern tip of the Park, the lake is quiet, beautiful, and has plenty of seating and open areas. Although easily accessible to neighborhood residents, the trek to the lake through Central Park requires navigating North Wood’s winding paths and rugged hills. It is one of the few places where Manhattan’s original topography has been preserved.
