Place Matters Profile

Stanley Cogan

The synagogue was erected in the 1920s for Russian immigrants. It suffered from disuse into the 1970s and 1980s, but came back to life in the 1990s with a Soviet Union immigration revival. The interior is quite lovely and it is a full "minion" house.
