Place Matters Profile

A 7-circuit labyrinth, 52’ in diameter, painted on asphalt with acrylic paint. Bright blue with touches of gold, the East River Reflections Labyrinth is a place of play and meditation, but many recommend it as a place of healing. Originally painted in 2004, and thanks to donations from the New York Junior League, the labyrinth was restored in June 2012 as part of the Blueway project, a beautification effort of East River Park.
